Things to consider when confirmed cases of Covid-19 have spanned the globe

As of now, while the new coronavirus appears to be difficult to control, scientists are working hard to develop a vaccine which takes some time before it is ready. To safeguard yourself from potential infection, there are ways to protect ourselves which we can all help our community during a coronavirus outbreak.

  • Drink warm water with lemon every morning: lemons are high in vitamin C, a natural antioxidant which enhances the immune system.

  • Rinse your mouth with salt water: studies also show that salt water may help reduce infection severity, whether it’s from a viral or bacterial infection.

  • Drink warm water: it improves circulation

  • Avoid sharing personal items with other people in your household such as utensils, drinking glasses, towels and other items which you may share with people at your home.

  • Always wash your hands often with soap for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 70% alcohol.

  • Eat foods which are clean and well cooked.

  • Workout at home as the fitness center has been closed, you can try yoga or bodyweight exercises at home.

  • Stay 6 feet, or 2 meters, away from others when possible.

  • Avoid any sort of mass gatherings.
